Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of BudgetBuckets (the “Service”), provided by CoreSystem360, LLC (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

BudgetBuckets helps households track spending in budget buckets, scan receipts, import bank statements, save and price recipes, and build shopping lists. Workspaces support up to 5 active members. We may add, change, or remove features as the Service evolves.

2. Account and eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
• Workspace owners are responsible for what members of their workspace do.

3. Trial, billing, and cancellation

• The Service includes a 7-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial.
• After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at $15/month per workspace. We may change pricing for future billing periods on at least 30 days’ notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing page inside the app. After cancellation, your workspace remains accessible through the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the budget data, transactions, receipts, recipes, shopping lists, and any other content you put into the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content only to operate the Service for you and your workspace members. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train AI models.

5. AI-powered features — disclaimers

BudgetBuckets uses AI to parse receipts, categorize bank statement rows, parse recipes, and estimate recipe cost. AI outputs are estimates and may be inaccurate.

• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated suggestions before committing them to your budget.
• Recipe cost estimates are based on aggregate retail data and are not guaranteed.
• The Service is not financial, tax, legal, or nutritional advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to upload illegal content.
• Upload malware, attempt to compromise our systems, or interfere with other users.
• Reverse engineer the Service except as expressly permitted by law.
• Scrape, mass-export, or resell access to the Service.
• Use the Service to process information belonging to people who have not consented to that processing.

7. Intellectual property

BudgetBuckets, its software, design, and branding are owned by us. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for personal household budgeting. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users, or fail to pay. We will give reasonable notice when we can.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI outputs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the change becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in York County, Pennsylvania.
