This Cookie Policy explains how BudgetBuckets uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember you between requests — for example, to keep you signed in. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) work the same way and are covered by this policy.
2. What BudgetBuckets uses
BudgetBuckets uses only strictly-necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the Service.

3. Why we don’t ask for cookie consent
Under EU/UK ePrivacy rules and similar U.S. state laws, consent is required for non-essential cookies (advertising, third-party analytics, etc.). The cookies above are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for — signing in and processing payments — so they are exempt from the consent requirement. We still tell you they exist, because transparency is the right thing to do.
4. How to control cookies
- You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out of the Service.
- You can configure your browser to block cookies. If you block all cookies, the Service will not work because you will not be able to sign in.
- You can manage Stripe’s cookies on Stripe’s own site.
5. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, product analytics), we will update this policy before those cookies are set and ask for your consent through a cookie banner.
